# General information

RX BACNET: general information

The **RX BACNET** is a receiver designed to provide the interface between Enless sensors and building management systems (controllers, BMS, supervision).

## LoRa Easy Technology (Proprietary)

This receiver uses exclusively the **LoRa Easy**protocol, a proprietary, optimized and lightweight version of the LoRa protocol.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Important** : The **RX BACNET** is only compatible with the Enless Wireless sensor range specified as LoRa Easy. It cannot communicate with third-party LoRaWAN equipment.
{% endhint %}

## Connectivity and Integration

A true data bridge, the **RX BACNET** converts Enless sensor radio frames into usable BACnet data. It offers complete integration flexibility thanks to its dual connectivity:

* **BACnet IP** via its RJ45 Ethernet port.
* **BACnet MS/TP** via its RS485 serial link.

## Key installation points

* **Wide-range power supply** : Supports 7.5 to 24 VDC (typically 12V 1A).
* **Simplified configuration** : Intuitive web interface for sensor registration (LoRa ID), real-time network diagnostics, and viewing the register table.
* **Flexible mounting** : Integrated wall mounting or on 35mm DIN rail (via optional accessory).
* **Optimized reception** : SMA connector for remote antenna (recommended model: ANT REN SMA LR 1000-008) to ensure maximum range even in a metal cabinet.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://enless.gitbook.io/centre-aide/guides-installation/documentation-en/gateway-and-receivers/rx-bacnet/general-information.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
