# Power supply

The TX TEMP CONT1 + BLACK BULB PROBE offers a power supply mode on **Battery**; use the supplied battery for optimal autonomy.

## First commissioning

1. First, unscrew the 4 screws on the front face of the sensor.
2. Power activation of the TX TEMP CONT1 + BLACK BULB PROBE is carried out by connecting the Molex connector.

## Battery replacement

1. Disconnect the Molex connector of the used battery from the PCB connector.
2. Unscrew the screws of the battery retaining clip and remove it.
3. Remove the used battery from its slot and insert the new one.
4. Put the battery retaining clip back in place and lock it using the two screws provided for this purpose.
5. Reconnect the Molex connector of the new battery to the PCB.
6. The sensor restarts.

Be careful **not to touch** the **components** of the PCB with your fingers when handling the battery connector.

Do not close the sensor right away so as to check the LED display indicating its activation on the LoRa Easy or LoRaWAN network.
