# Power supply

The TX IO receiver is designed for flexible on-site integration. It accepts a wide DC voltage range.

## Technical specifications

* Voltage range: 7.5 to 24 VDC.
* Typical consumption: 12V / 1A.
* Polarity: Wire <mark style="color:$danger;">**Red**</mark> (+) / Wire **Black** (-).

## Connection options

The installer has two methods available to power the device:

1. **Pre-installed wiring** : The product is supplied with a cable exiting through the cable gland. You can connect directly to this cable, respecting the color code (Red = Positive, Black = Ground/Negative).
2. **Custom wiring** : For a custom installation, it is possible to remove the original wiring. Unscrew the cable gland, remove the existing wires, and pass your own power cable for a direct connection to the internal terminals of the electronic board.

For optimal reliability and simplified installation, Enless Wireless offers a dedicated mains power supply:

* Reference: **POWER 1000-002**
* Specifications: Regulated 12V power supply.

**Safety** : Before any intervention on the internal terminal block or modification of the wiring, make sure that the power source is**switched off**. Reversing the polarity may damage the receiver's electronic components.
