# Power supply and battery

The TX WINDOW offers a power supply mode on **Battery**; use the supplied battery for optimal battery life. To activate the sensor, simply remove the insulating tab.

TX WINDOW power activation is carried out by removing the protective tab from the built-in battery.

## Battery replacement

To replace the TX WINDOW battery, you must first remove the sensor from its mount and clear access to the battery.

Don’t forget to remove the screw, otherwise the sensor cannot be opened!

The TX WINDOW uses a 2/3AA 3.6 V lithium battery.

If your sensor was still operating but with a weak battery, it will continue to function without any action from you.

If, on the other hand, the sensor had no battery left, it will then restart.
