How to use the sensors’ push button?

The different push-button press combinations apply only to the latest-generation sensors:

  • TX T&H MINI 600-050

  • TX T&H AMB 600-051

  • TX T&H E-INK AMB 600-052

  • TX CO2 T&H AMB 600-053

  • TX LIGHT PIR T&H 600-062

  • TX WINDOW 600-050

Push-button press combinations

Short press (less than 1 second)

Test frame transmission. The orange LED will blink once the frame is successfully sent.

Press until the blue LED lights up

Enable Bluetooth mode to configure the sensors using the mobile app. When Bluetooth mode is enabled, the blue LED will blink. To exit Bluetooth mode, press and hold the push button for 5 seconds until the blue LED stops blinking.

Press until the green LED lights up

Trigger a new JOIN Request. Releasing the button when the green LED lights up will initiate a new JOIN Request. This function only operates if the sensor is not already connected to a LoRaWAN network.

Press until the red LED lights up

Discharging the sensor’s supercapacitor. Releasing the button when the red LED lights up will cause the transmitter to discharge its supercapacitor, ensuring no residual energy remains in the sensor’s electronic circuit. You can then perform a full restart of the device.

⚠️ Note: this procedure must only be performed when the sensor’s battery has been removed from its compartment
