This documentation describes the installation procedure for sensors in Proprietary LoRa mode.
Therefore, it is essential that the sensors you are using operate in Proprietary LoRa mode.
The communication mode is selected either via a jumper on the sensor’s circuit board or via a switch on the back of the product, depending on the sensor type.

New-generation room sensors
Switch on the back of the product set to LoRa position
New-generation mini sensors
Switch on the back of the product set to LoRa position
Old-generation room sensors
Jumper on the circuit board placed across both pins
Rugged sensors
Jumper on the circuit board placed across both pins
The mode change will only be applied if the jumper or switch is toggled while the sensor is powered off.
