Sensor Installation

Position and mount the products in their final locations.

Once the sensors have been paired with the receiver and communication has been successfully verified, you can proceed with their installation.

Sensor Positioning

Proper sensor positioning is crucial and significantly impacts the quality of radio signal propagation. Poor placement may reduce the transmission range. To maximize transmitter performance, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Position the sensors as high as possible

  • We recommend installing transmitters at a minimum height of 1.50 m

  • Ensure that the transmitter antenna is always pointing upwards

Mounting the Products

New generation sensors

Once the back plate is secured, you can insert the product body onto the plate and lock it using the provided security screw.

Ambient sensors

The sensors are mounted using the wall-mounting tabs. These tabs are designed for screw mounting and are located inside the sensors.

Rugged sensors and receivers

The product can be mounted using cable ties, screw tabs, or on a DIN rail using the dedicated brackets sold separately (ref. 1000-005).
